Sayang dengan passport sekarang sebab passport tu 5 tahun lepas pegi buat dengan Paih..and nombor passport kami masa tu berturut.. Tapi Paih dah buat passport baru 2 kali dh lepas tu.. 

Sampai sini pukul 11, nombor giliran dapat 1249.. Current number mase tu 1077!!!

Our 5-year-old notebook decided to die on us last month..u never know what u've got till it's gone..we felt helpless without it eventhough we rarely used it nowadays.. 

To heal the broken heart..we've decided! I'm extremely over the moon (as usual)! 

My Humble Kitchen

So while waiting for Paih to finish working, i went to this newly-opened market, Hero at Bandar Sri Damansara.. I was so excited because this tiny store has almost everything. Everything, means u name it either oriental or western, u got it! And the was pretty cheap i guess, looking at the kangkung priced RM0.35 per ikat. I bought some raw materials for a week supply since Paih MAY be around. If not, all the vegies will just dry up in the fridge.. So here are few of this week's dinner! 

This is the modified malay-version of grilled salmon.. I sprinkled garlic+ginger, salt and mixed herbs.. I have neither oven nor non-stick pan, therefore i literally put them on the stove.. I did not make the white sauce because i served it with my Udang Sambal Petai..

And i found a pack of peeled-petai!! So i guess i'll be having petai everyday (reminding myself to drink plenty of fluids to be kind to my kidneys). And the nasi was as simple as throwing in some butter,mushroom and mixed vegies (my student-years fav!).. The sambal wasnt 'red' enough because the dried chili already turned brown (explains how infrequent i cook).

I called this ayam-ala-thai,because i just put together all the usual thai ingredients..i stir-fried shallots, garlics, cilipadi, ginger, lengkuas, serai, daun limau purut. But i dont have sos-ikan-cap-sotong-thai, it's not complete! For the vegies, i actually intended to make kangkung-goreng-belacan..but the babycorn overshadowed it hehehe..the kangkung shrunk! 

But tonight, i'm not cooking because we are eating out with Paih's big sis.. And yes, i'm not a superwife, most of the time i could not bring myself up from the fluffy-fluffy pillows in front of the TV afterwork.. I love my sacred place.. 

This is where i need to be dragged to bed eeeevery day.. I sometimes hold my pee because i was too lazy to move.. (My plants were all unhealthy, so i moved the table slightly away from the window because i think direct sunlight is too much for them - i'll write another entry about them)

I was about to throw the pink and green Vaselines, then i realised i should commemorate them somewhere since they are families :) a cute one! 

Ok we start with the Green..i totally totally fall in love with it since Summer 2007.. I remembered sneaking Beya's Vaseline into my luggage for my Japan Trip, and i was hooked! The smell, the memories and everything!

The Yellow appeared previously in the entry about things in my scrub pocket.. The smell is nice, but ok la, handy but otherwise nothing much to say.. But i really appreciate it when it's there after repeated usage of antiseptics-handrub all day long at work. 

And i would say the Pink one is out of my list now.. I bought few of them the other day because i cant resist miniature packagings at the Watson's checkout counter.. To my frustration, the smell was too strong and medicated..erk, cannot tahan! The only reason the whole tube is being used was because i left it in the car and Paih used it for his scar on his hand..

The girl who did our pedicure and manicure last week said that the real Vaseline (the petroleum jelly) is the best of all for moisturising and repair of dry skin.. It's just that the texture is slightly messy for daily use but i guess applying them on the foot as prebedtime routine wouldnt be so bad..then i can save from needing any foot treatment, hopefully! 

Eye Candy

Thanks Aisya for your voucher, i felt bad that u dont have anything to buy from the bookshop..but i promise to grant your wish anytime for anything! 

I havent read any of Mariah Stewart's before this, so i'm quite anxious if her writings arent for me.. 

And why Nora Roberts? I guess she's famous for a reason.. The last time i read her book was 2 weeks ago.. I couldnt put it down and my heart beats with every page-turn.. It was Book One in the Bride Quartet..

So automatically the other three in the quartet will be in my wishlist, however the Popular's list wasnt exhaustive enough.. I've only managed to find Book Three with different printing version.. 

I wont be bored for this whole year kot! 

#Bfftjfirdausi

A lots of foods involved this whole labour day (apart from lots of loves and laughs).. So in love with Paih over and over again for being this accomodative (being able to blend in with our crazy crowd might not be easy hihi).. 

We had a brunch at Big Brother Kota Damansara for a starter.. I love the Bruchetta! Paih's pasta is ok, but Effah's was too spicy for me.. 

No real shopping involved on that day, quite dissapointing because i hoped i could at least grab a pair or two of blouses/dresses (but found none!)

Then we got ourselves caiffeinated to prepare for the upcoming day ahead! It was so nice after soo long.. Couldnt help ourself from going back down our Melbourne memory lane.. 

The next stop, The Italiannies with the addition of Saffi, Kerri and Adah (and my new monopod,uhuks).. The food? The salmon was gooood... The gossips? As juicy as usual! 

As for the desserts, we went to Paddingtons House of Pancakes after maghrib.. Had sugar-rush for few hours at least! I love the bowl of mini pancakes and fruits with chocolate fondue! Didnt have the chance to snap the foods, rugi!! 

Oh btw, wondering what's bfftjfirdausi really mean? BFF till jannatulfirdausi! Lol

Tayangan Larut Malam

It was labour-day's eve, so we figured that midnight movie might be the best idea.. With Aisya and Effah with us, movie night sounds greater! 

I'm not the best person to write a movie review but seriously, i expected more.. The cheesy part is fine with me, but the villains plot is just dissapointing! The way The Electro express his power pon wasnt woowww-able..setakat electrochute people je.. The way my specialist put his thought ' Yeah, spiderman 2 is like a 2 hr MTV with annoying teenagers with love problems... 💤' LOL

But i never regret watching it..i had a really great time..

Mencari Pampas puff pastry kat Tesco haritu tapi habis stok.. Bukak-bukak freezer Mummy nampak sesuatu yang menarik untuk menyambut kepulangan suami.. 

Everytime nak buat memang saya akan Google je, tak pernah gune the same particular recipe pon.. So this time saya modify from Jamie Oliver punye plak.. 

Sebenarnye basic menumis je sama.. Sebab Jamie pakai pureed tomato tu.. Saya pakai Worcestershire sauce.. Awih pernah pesan kene letak sauce tu berlebih sikit baru naik rasa, dan saya ikut nasihat itu.. Onions pon saya letak banyak sebab Awih kata nak kene manis-manis from onions..

In between meat dengan potato tu saya letak cheese.. Then on top of the potato pon saya sprinkle with cheese powder and grated Mozarella cheese.. 

Oh by the way, saya tak mash sendiri pon potato tu, tak mampu! Guna yang frozen saja.. Sentiasa ade a few packet dalam freezer Mummy..

Saya hidangkan bersama steamed cauliflower and carrot.. Sebenarnya nak brocolli sebab nak ade the green contrast, tapi TEMAN (terminal makanan nasional) takde brocolli pagi tu.. 

New Look? Naah...

Terasa nak tukar angin je.. Tapi belom ketemu yang menawan kalbu.. 

Yang menawan semuanya berbayar, oh tidak mungkin la saya akan spend untuk template blog..

All I need to do is shopping, with Mummy's credit card!!!!

What happen is I'll just need to pick stuffs that i like and propose to the buyers

(Sounds soo business-woman - the buyers : Beya and Mummy and Makcik)

Because I'm the only one with plenty of time to do the search

The Plan

I really believe in Allah is The Best Planner (of course we all do).. But my recent milestones were somewhat the best proof of all. He knows that i'm in need for a good rest, so He tested me with An Acute Appendicits..then i was blessed with two weeks MC!! What else could i ask for! He knows this is the best time for me to rest.. Thank you Allah!
