"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvellous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity." Albert Einstein
US (German-born) physicist (1879 - 1955)
That was on the first slide today during our intro week.. a lot to share, honestly..but still a little bit overwhelmed with this whole room/studio searching thoughts..
the thought about 'is this the right decision?' kept lingering my mind every time our search failed. i kept thinking about the comfort zone we were in back in our own country, with good pay checks, reasonable power of purchase..suddenly, we became like 'err..that'll cost us 1pound extra!'.. so yeah, until we've found a good place to stay, i think i will keep on worrying about our decision..not that i regret this path, but..doubting our ability to stay strong..
leaving everything behind.. we sacrificed.. hopefully for a better future...insyaAllah..
hopefully i can soon say, 'apart from the hassles of house-hunting, London is great' like other bloggers (including balqis's fav blogger) had mentioned hundreds of times before.. i'm not alone, every newcomers found this house hunting very depressing (unless you have unlimited financial source)...
